Terms & Conditions
Last updated: January 2024
These Terms & Conditions constitute a legal agreement between you and National Debt Compliance Center ("NDCC"). By accessing our website and utilizing our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
NDCC provides debt relief services including debt assessment, negotiation, settlement, and financial counseling. We are a debt relief agency that helps individuals manage their debt through negotiation and settlement. We are not a law firm.
Results are not guaranteed. Individual outcomes depend on various factors including creditor cooperation, financial circumstances, and program adherence.
As a client, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete financial information
- Maintain communication with NDCC about your program
- Follow the debt management plan as agreed
- Set aside funds for debt settlement as recommended
- Notify us of any changes in your financial situation
- Not misrepresent information to creditors
NDCC operates on a performance-based fee structure:
- No upfront fees are charged
- Fees are calculated as a percentage of debt reduced or settled
- Fees are typically 15-25% of negotiated savings
- You only pay fees when settlements are successfully achieved
- All fees will be disclosed in your service agreement
NDCC will:
- Negotiate with your creditors on your behalf
- Work to reduce your debt burden
- Keep you informed of settlement negotiations
- Comply with all FDCPA regulations
Please note that creditors are not obligated to accept our settlement proposals. Collection activities may continue during the program period.
Debt relief programs may negatively impact your credit score in the short term. However, this impact is typically less severe than other alternatives such as bankruptcy. Your credit score may recover within 18-24 months after program completion as negative marks age off your credit report.
NDCC is not responsible for:
- Creditor decisions to reject settlement offers
- Legal actions taken by creditors
- Changes in your financial circumstances
- Decisions made by collection agencies
- Tax implications of debt settlement
For tax implications, please consult a tax professional.
Either party may terminate the service agreement with written notice. Upon termination:
- NDCC will cease debt negotiations
- Final accounting will be provided
- All settlement documentation will be provided to you
